UK-based mid-tier accountancy and advisory practice Gerald Edelman has appointed four partners to expand its corporate finance team.
The company has recruited Jagdip Bharij, Creag Campbell-Ace and Andrew Smith, and promoted Sam Barr.
With these changes, the company has increased its number of partners to 24.
Bharij joined last month as a transaction tax partner within the company’s partner-led corporate finance business. He has spent more than 25 years overseeing tax mandates for large multinational groups.
Campbell-Ace joined in February as a transaction services partner, adding further capacity and experience to the company’s corporate finance team.
Smith became a corporate tax partner in January. He has more than 20 years’ experience including a stint at a ‘Big Four’ company and as a partner at another accountancy practice.
Barr joined Gerald Edelman in 2023 from Stifel. He trained at Deloitte, and focuses on advising owners and their businesses on mergers and acquisitions transactions across a variety of sectors.
Gerald Edelman CEO Carl Lundberg said: “I am delighted to welcome Jagdip, Creag, Andrew, and of course Sam, to the Gerald Edelman Partnership.
“Whilst 2026 marks 80 years for the firm, we are very much focused on the future and each of our new partners brings a wealth of experience from across the industry. I know their contributions will help propel our business to further success and ongoing growth.
“These new appointments put us in an even stronger position to support our clients through increasingly complex business and regulatory environments.”
In August last year, Gerald Edelman appointed Tom Harris as its new audit partner.
“Accountancy practice Gerald Edelman adds four new partners” was originally created and published by International Accounting Bulletin, a GlobalData owned brand.
